HOW CHRISTIANITY IS BEING ATTACKED

Censorship of Christian Voices

One of the most aggressive attacks on Christianity today comes in the form of censorship and suppression of biblical truth. We live in an era where speaking about faith in public forums, online, or even in workplaces is met with hostility, removal, or outright banning. The modern world claims to champion free speech and diversity, yet Christian voices are systematically silenced when they challenge the mainstream narrative.

How Christian Speech is Being Suppressed:

• Social Media Bans and Shadowbanning – Many Christian influencers, pastors, and content creators have had their posts removed, accounts suspended, or engagement drastically reduced for simply sharing Bible verses or speaking against sin.
• Big Tech Control Over Information – Major technology companies manipulate search results, restrict Christian news sources, and flag biblical teachings as “harmful” or “hateful content.”
• Demonetization and Financial Penalties – Christian content creators are often demonetized or financially penalized, making it harder to sustain faith-based ministries online.
• Legislation Against Biblical Teachings – Laws are being pushed that classify parts of the Bible as “hate speech,” making it illegal to preach certain biblical truths on issues like marriage, gender, and morality.
• Censorship in Schools and Universities – Christian students are often penalized for sharing their beliefs, while professors promoting secular or anti-Christian ideologies are celebrated.
• Corporate Restrictions on Religious Expression – Many workplaces discourage or outright ban expressions of faith, making Christians feel they must hide their beliefs to keep their jobs.

The Double Standard Against Christianity

While Christian voices are being silenced, other ideologies are actively promoted. Radical secularism, atheism, and progressive agendas are given unrestricted platforms while Christian content is systematically removed or flagged. The hypocrisy is clear freedom of speech is only protected if it aligns with the secular agenda.

The Danger of Silence

If Christians allow this censorship to continue unchecked, the ability to openly practice and share our faith will continue to erode. The goal of the enemy is to isolate believers, make them afraid to speak out, and ultimately erase Christianity from the public square.

But we must resist. We must refuse to be silenced and continue to spread the Word of God in every way possible whether through alternative platforms, face-to-face conversations, or underground Christian networks if necessary.

The forces of darkness are advancing, but we know that the victory belongs to the Lord. We are not called to remain silent we are called to stand up, fight back, defend the faith and reclaim the voice of Christianity in this world.

Attacks on Christian Morality

One of the most dangerous ways Christianity is under attack is through the deliberate dismantling of biblical morality. The fundamental teachings of Christ concerning marriage, family, life, and righteousness are being rewritten by a culture that seeks to replace absolute truth with subjective morality. The world has set itself against the moral foundations of Christianity, branding them as intolerant, outdated, or even hateful.

The War on Biblical Values:

• The Redefinition of Marriage and Gender – The biblical model of marriage between one man and one woman has been rejected by society, replaced with fluid and ever-changing definitions that contradict God’s design.
• The Attack on the Sanctity of Life – Abortion is celebrated as a “right” rather than recognized as the destruction of innocent lives. Euthanasia is promoted as a means to end suffering, rather than embracing the value of life at all stages.
• Corrupting the Minds of Children – Public schools and entertainment industries push agendas that contradict biblical teachings, indoctrinating children with values that stand in direct opposition to Christianity.
• The Sexualization of Society – Biblical teachings on purity and self-control are ridiculed, while promiscuity, pornography, and alternative lifestyles are promoted as normal and acceptable.
• The Demonization of Biblical Morality – Christians who stand by biblical values are labeled as hateful, bigoted, or extremist, even when their stance is grounded in love and biblical conviction.

How This is Impacting the Church

Many churches, under immense pressure from society, have compromised on biblical morality to remain relevant or avoid persecution. This compromise has led to:

• Weak and Lukewarm Preaching – Pastors avoiding topics like sin, repentance, and judgment for fear of offending their congregation.
• Moral Relativism in the Church – Acceptance of sinful behaviors under the guise of inclusivity rather than calling for repentance and transformation through Christ.
• Fear of Losing Tax-Exempt Status – Some churches avoid taking a strong moral stance to avoid government scrutiny and financial consequences.

The Biblical Warning About Moral Decline

The Bible warned that in the last days, people would reject truth and embrace moral decay:

• Isaiah 5:20 – “Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness.”
• 2 Timothy 4:3-4 – “For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear.”
• Romans 1:25 – “They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator.”

The moral decay of society is not just a social issue—it is a spiritual battle. The world is seeking to erase God’s standards and replace them with a morality dictated by feelings and societal trends. But Christians must not conform to the patterns of this world (Romans 12:2).

How We Can Fight Back

• Teach and Uphold Biblical Morality – Parents, pastors, and Christian leaders must boldly teach the next generation about God’s unchanging truth.
• Reject Cultural Compromise – The church must stand firm, even when it means persecution, rather than bending to the demands of the world.
• Engage in Christian Activism – Support pro-life movements, advocate for religious freedom, and challenge immoral policies in education and law.
• Pray for Moral Revival – The battle is not just political it is spiritual. Prayer and intercession are necessary to turn the hearts of people back to God.

Legal Persecution: Christianity vs. the Law

• Laws Restricting Christian Speech – In many Western nations, biblical teachings on marriage, gender, and morality are being labeled as “hate speech,” with legal consequences for pastors and Christians who speak out.
• Bans on Evangelism and Public Worship – Street preachers and Christian organizations are increasingly targeted with restrictions, fines, and even arrests for sharing the Gospel in public spaces.
• Churches Forced to Conform – Governments have pressured churches to alter their doctrines to fit secular agendas or risk losing tax-exempt status, funding, or legal protections.
• Targeting of Christian Businesses – Christian-owned businesses are sued, fined, or shut down for refusing to comply with secular policies that go against their faith, such as catering to events that contradict biblical values.

The weaponization of the legal system against Christianity is not an accident it is a strategic effort to force compliance and silence the truth. The world demands that believers compromise their faith in order to be accepted, but as Jesus warned, “No servant is greater than his master. If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also” (John 15:20).

Social Persecution: Christianity in a Hostile World

Beyond the legal attacks, Christians are also facing relentless social persecution, as secular culture seeks to isolate, shame, and silence anyone who upholds biblical values. This includes:

• Workplace Discrimination – Christians are losing jobs, denied promotions, or pressured to participate in activities that violate their faith.
• Media Slander and Misinformation – Christianity is often misrepresented in news, entertainment, and academia as oppressive, intolerant, or outdated.
• Social Media Attacks and Cancel Culture – Believers who share biblical truth online are harassed, doxxed, and even de-platformed for their faith.
• School and University Indoctrination – Christian students face hostility in schools and colleges where secular ideologies dominate and biblical perspectives are suppressed.
• Intimidation and Violence – In some regions, open Christian worship results in vandalized churches, violent mobs, and even martyrdom.

The Goal of Persecution: Silencing the Truth

The aim of both legal and social persecution is to force Christians into silence, making them too afraid to share their faith or live according to biblical values. The enemy seeks to create an environment where following Christ comes at too high a cost where believers will choose compromise over conviction.

But history proves that persecution only strengthens the church. The more Christianity is attacked, the more it thrives. Jesus said, “Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven” (Matthew 5:10). Persecution is not the end of Christianity it is the mark of true faith and a call to stand even stronger.

Misrepresentation in Media

The media plays a critical role in shaping public opinion, and for decades, Christianity has been deliberately misrepresented, ridiculed, and villainized. From news outlets to Hollywood, from TV shows to social media, the portrayal of Christianity has been distorted to fit an anti-biblical narrative that pushes people away from faith.

How the Media Misrepresents Christianity

• Christians as Intolerant Extremists – The media often paints Christians as hateful, bigoted, or regressive, ignoring the core teachings of love, grace, and redemption.
• Church Leaders as Corrupt or Hypocritical – Movies and TV shows frequently depict pastors and priests as frauds, criminals, or abusers, creating distrust in religious leadership.
• Biblical Values as Outdated or Harmful – Christian teachings on morality, marriage, and family are regularly mocked, dismissed, or portrayed as oppressive.
• Christianity as Anti-Science – Faith is framed as being in conflict with logic and reason, despite the historical contributions of Christianity to science and philosophy.
• Selective Reporting on Christian Persecution – While the media covers oppression of other religious groups, the global persecution of Christians is largely ignored.
• Promoting Secularism as the Only Rational Viewpoint – Religious belief is presented as something that belongs in the past, while atheism and progressive ideologies are promoted as the “enlightened” path forward.

The Power of Media in Shaping Perception

Media is one of the most powerful tools of influence, and by systematically distorting Christianity, it turns society against believers. A new generation is growing up believing falsehoods about Christianity, never hearing the truth of the Gospel because the gatekeepers of information refuse to portray it fairly.

The goal of this intentional misrepresentation is clear:

• To weaken the credibility of Christianity
• To create hostility toward biblical truth
• To discourage people from seeking faith
• To isolate and silence Christians

Jesus warned that this would happen:

“If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first” (John 15:18).

But we are called to stand firm in truth and expose the lies of the enemy.

How We Can Fight Back

• Promote Christian Media Alternatives – Support faith-based films, books, podcasts, and news sources that uphold biblical values.
• Expose the Lies – Call out and challenge false narratives that attack Christianity.
• Engage in Digital Evangelism – Use social media, blogs, and video platforms to share biblical truth and counter misinformation.
• Support Christian Voices in Journalism and Entertainment – Encourage believers who work in media to create accurate and faith-affirming content.
• Pray for Media Reform – Ask God to raise up voices in the industry who will restore truth and fairness in how Christianity is represented.

The media has immense power, but we serve a God who is greater. If we work together, we can reclaim the truth, defend the faith and ensure that Christianity is no longer distorted to fit a false narrative.

Hostility in Schools and Workplaces

Christianity is under attack not just in public discourse but in educational institutions and workplaces, where believers are increasingly facing discrimination, suppression, and exclusion for standing by their faith. As secular ideologies become more dominant, Christians are finding it harder to freely express their beliefs without facing backlash, penalties, or even job loss.

Christianity in Schools: The Indoctrination of a Generation

The education system is one of the primary battlegrounds where Christian values are being suppressed and replaced with secular and anti-biblical worldviews. Christian students often face ridicule, discrimination, and academic penalties for holding biblical beliefs.

• Banning of Christian Speech – Students are discouraged or outright prohibited from discussing their faith, praying, or referencing biblical teachings in assignments.
• Secular Indoctrination – Schools promote ideologies that contradict Christianity, such as gender fluidity, moral relativism, and evolution as the only accepted scientific view.
• Removal of Christian Heritage – History books downplay or erase Christianity’s role in shaping civilization, while other religions are given prominence.

Christian parents must be vigilant and proactive in ensuring their children are not force-fed anti-Christian ideologies in schools. The battle for the hearts and minds of the next generation is well underway.

Christianity in the Workplace: A Culture of Fear

Christian employees are also experiencing rising hostility in professional settings. Many workplaces have embraced woke corporate policies, mandating ideological compliance while punishing those who uphold biblical values.

• Workplace Censorship – Employees are reprimanded for speaking about their faith, sharing Bible verses, or praying in break rooms.
• Compelled Speech – Many companies require employees to use gender pronouns, participate in LGBTQ+ pride events, or support causes that contradict biblical teachings.
• Denial of Religious Accommodations – Christians are refused time off for religious holidays while accommodations for other religions are prioritized.
• Forced Training on Anti-Biblical Agendas – Mandatory diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programs often push narratives that conflict with Christian beliefs.

The enemy wants Christians to feel alone and powerless, but we must resist and stand firm.

“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” (Romans 12:2)

• Support Christian Educators – Teachers and professors who stand for biblical truth must be supported through prayer, advocacy, and legal aid.

• Encourage Christian Workplace Networks – Believers should form prayer groups and support systems in workplaces to strengthen one another.
